Robin Quillon named CNHI senior vice president

Community Newspaper Holdings Inc. has announced that Robin Quillon, publisher of The Tribune-Democrat in Johnstown, Penn., and the Cumberland (Md.) Times-News, has been appointed senior vice president/operations.

Quillon will oversee several CNHI newspapers in Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, West Virginia, Kentucky and Maryland, while maintaining his current publisher role. He will report directly to Steve McPhaul, CNHI's executive vice president and chief operating officer.

A 31-year veteran newspaper executive, Quillon joined CNHI in 2008 as publisher of The Tribune-Democrat. He previously held senior management positions with The News Chief of Winter Haven, Fla., and the Frederick News-Post of Frederick, Md.
