Cox Enterprises announces corporate promotions

Cox Enterprises announced a number of promotions this week.  They included:

  • Neil Campbell has been promoted to vice president of financial planning and analysis, effective immediately. He reports to Lacey Lewis, senior vice president of finance.  "Since joining Cox Enterprises two years ago, Neil has helped shape the company's view about our growth and investment strategy.  He also is continuously ensuring that our financial planning programs align with key business drivers," said Lewis.
  • Mark Dawson has been promoted to vice president of information technology business solutions. He reports to Greg Morrison, senior vice president and chief information officer. Dawson oversees a team of information technology professionals focused on the development, implementation and integration of enterprise-wide technology solutions. He has chaired multiple cross-divisional project teams and partners closely with Cox's finance, legal, human resources and payroll departments to drive efficiency and transformation.
  • Greg Jackson was named vice president of enterprise talent acquisition. He reports to Robert Cahn, vice president of talent management and diversity. He has experience in change management, diversity and inclusion, talent acquisition, vendor management and workforce analytics. Prior to this role, Jackson served as vice president of planning and talent acquisition at Cox Communications, the company's broadband communications and entertainment subsidiary. In this role, he created a centralized team of specialized recruiters to meet the company's recruiting needs throughout its corporate and field locations.
  • Jeffrey Osborne has been promoted to senior director of enterprise procurement. He reports to Mark Leuenberger, assistant vice president of supply chain and fleet services. Osborne has been with Cox for more than 10 years and has held a variety of roles. He is responsible for the procurement budget and procurement organization overseeing the functions of strategic sourcing, procurement technology systems, vendor management office and shared services related to enterprise procurement. He also provides cross-divisional counsel to Cox's divisions and corporate officers. His team establishes long-term, sustainable and competitive ways to source goods and services using technology, vendor management programs and sourcing professionals. He also has oversight of Cox's supplier diversity and supplier sustainability programs.
  • Daniel Abbey has been promoted to director of network engineering. He reports to John Bell, assistant vice president of information systems engineering. He joined Cox in 2011 and manages network and security engineering for Cox Enterprises' corporate campus and data centers, as well as various locations for the company's media division. He is responsible for the data and security network's strategic planning, engineering, operations and daily support.
  • Evelyn Bolden has been promoted to director of vendor management. She reports to Jeffrey Osborne, senior director of enterprise procurement. She joined Cox in 2000 and has held roles in product development, corporate strategy, corporate development and governance. Bolden is responsible for the development and implementation of innovative strategies for Cox's supplier diversity and supplier sustainability programs. She serves as the point of contact for interaction with all stakeholders to advance these initiatives. She oversees projects that deliver cost reduction and enhance relationships with key suppliers. She is also responsible for establishing metrics for outreach, sourcing, contract awards, diverse spend, total spend, sustainability and other performance criteria.
  • Anthony Caudill has been promoted to director of enterprises resource planning (ERP) applications. He reports to Mark Dawson, vice president of information technology business solutions. Caudill is responsible for researching, analyzing and recommending technologies. He creates and executes strategic roadmaps to ensure cost reduction, operating efficiency and the ability to support future growth needs at Cox Enterprises and its divisions. He also works closely with the company's business leaders as an internal information technology consultant. He joined Cox in 2007.
  • Vic Chandar has been promoted to director of client operations. He reports to Andre Reese, assistant vice president of information services operations. Chandar oversees Cox's information technology employee support center that provides assistance to more than 50,000 employees. He also manages desktop and voice services support and the network operations center, as well as implements new technologies for workplace efficiency and continuity. Prior to joining Cox in 2007, Chandar worked for Deloitte.
  • Brian King has been promoted to director of corporate accounting. He reports to Laura Wiese, senior director of corporate accounting. King, who joined Cox in 2001, oversees the company's monthly financial reporting and results as related to monthly expenses, fixed assets, investments and benefits. He develops financial accounting policies across the corporate departments to deliver efficiency and accuracy. He also works closely with accounting leaders at Cox's divisions and serves as the company's primary audit contact.
  • Dan Dewar has been promoted to director of corporate human resources. He reports to Robert Cahn, vice president of talent management and diversity. Dewar is responsible for the design and delivery of human resources activities for Cox Enterprises' corporate employees, including employee relations, onboarding, performance management and talent acquisition. He also participates in enterprise-wide human resources initiatives such as employee opinion surveys and integrated talent management programs that impact the company's 50,000 employees. Dewar joined Cox in 2004.
  • Robert Toner has been promoted to director of operational services. He reports to Cody Partin, vice president of real estate. Toner works on Cox's real estate team and supports construction and design projects for more than 22 million square feet of properties across 44 states. He serves as a consultant for Cox's properties on workplace strategy, design and planning to create collaborative, energy-efficient environments. He works closely with Cox's energy management, facilities, finance, information technology, legal, risk management and security departments. He has been with Cox since 2008.
  • Angela Tolliver has been promoted to director of enterprises resource planning (ERP) applications. She reports to Mark Dawson, vice president of information technology business solutions. Tolliver is responsible for supporting and maintaining all enterprise financial applications, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Invoice Imaging, MS Dynamics GP, Oracle E-Business Suite and Travel and Expense. She manages vendor relationships and serves as a liaison to Cox's internal financial functions. She joined the company in 2000 as a lead business analyst at Cox Communications, the company's cable and broadband entertainment division, and has held positions at Cox Enterprises since 2008.
