Joseph Craig named publisher of Morning News
Veteran newspaper executive Joseph Craig has been named regional publisher of the Morning News in Florence, S.C., and the Carolina Publishing Group.
The announcement was made by Kevin Kampman, vice president of BH Media's Southern Group.
Craig will lead the newsroom, advertising and circulation departments. He will live in Florence.
"Joe has deep, rich experience in our industry," Kampman said. "His strong leadership skills will serve us well in advancing the already robust suite of products and services offered by the Morning News."
Craig has more than 40 years in the newspaper business, working as a sales representative, department head, publisher and chief revenue officer.
In his most recent role, Craig was the regional publisher for the Alton Telegraph and the Jacksonville Journal Courier in Illinois.
