Finalists announced in Print Quality Contest

SNPA has announced the finalists in this year's Print Quality Contest. Awards will be presented Thursday morning, Sept. 15, at an awards breakfast during the News Industry Summit in Sarasota.
First-, second- and third-place honors will be recognized in four contest categories: under 25,000 circulation, 25,001-50,000 circulation, 50,001-100,000 and over 100,000.
Finalists (alphabetically by state) are:
- Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, Little Rock, Ark.
- Sarasota Herald-Tribune, Sarasota, Fla.
- The Villages Daily Sun, The Villages, Fla.
- The Telegraph, Macon, Ga.
- The Eagle-Tribune, North Andover, Mass.
- Columbia Daily Tribune, Columbia, Mo.
- News Tribune, Jefferson City, Mo.
- The Buffalo News, Buffalo, N.Y.
- The New York Times, printed by The Buffalo News, Buffalo, N.Y.
- Lancaster Farming, Ephrata, Penn.
- Bristol Herald Courier, Bristol, Va.
- The Free Lance-Star, Fredericksburg, Va.
Forty-nine newspapers competed for honors in this year's contest. Winners will be posted on the SNPA website Sept. 15, following the announcement in Sarasota.
