Global disruption: The information lowlands are rising fast

To understand the disruption of the information business, Steve Gray says it helps occasionally to go up 100,000 feet and look at what's happening around the globe.

In his MediaReset blog he writes: "This time, let's try thinking about what I'll call the 'information topography' of the planet. When we do, we'll see a massive global shift happening – as the lowlands rapidly rise to the heights enjoyed by the developed parts of the world.

"This shift is affecting us all, for better or worse, and will continue for generations to come."
