Second-graders take to crayon and paper to bring Kid Scoop back

Posted

When the Hillsboro Argus changed its format in April and dropped Kid Scoop, second-graders in Cheryl Hall's class did what countless readers have done before them: They wrote a letter to the editor. Each and every one of Hall's second-graders wrote a letter to Tom Maurer, Washington County manager for the Oregonian Media Group, asking for Kid Scoop to be reinstated. Each letter was accompanied by an original drawing to illustrate the point.  Read more and view a video from The Oregonian.
