Morris Publishing Group, LLC has announced the acquisition of the First Coast and HealthSource magazines from Beson4Media Group.

The publications will join the Morris-owned Times-Union Media portfolio of more than 30 titles ranging from The Florida Times-Union, now in its 152nd year, to Jacksonville.com to neighborhood publications to military newspapers – all published across print, digital and social platforms.

"We are excited to add these award-winning publications to our growing portfolio of products that serve the people of Northeast Florida," said William S. Morris IV, chief executive officer of Morris Publishing Group.  "We believe that a city magazine plays an important role in every community and is an important part of a local media company's product mix."

First Coast, named 2015 Magazine of the Year by the Florida Magazine Association, showcases the vibrant culture of Northeast Florida, revealing inside stories designed to entertain with a focus on historical, educational and inspirational people and locales.

HealthSource is Northeast Florida's premier publication for healthy living, providing practical health advice for vitality, longevity and enjoyment of life. Top local experts in exercise, nutrition, psychology, medicine and beauty join forces with our writers to make each issue a complete how-to manual for a healthy lifestyle.

"We're thrilled to add First Coast and HealthSource to our family," said Mark Nusbaum, president of Times-Union Media. "Everything we do is focused on providing great value to our audiences, our business partners and our communities, and these outstanding monthly magazines give us new and exciting ways to do just that."
