Tribune Publishing Company has announced the appointments of Nancy Meyer as publisher/CEO of the Orlando Sentinel Media Group and Rick Daniels as publisher/CEO of the Hartford Courant Media Group.

Howard Greenberg, who has served as publisher/CEO of the Orlando Sentinel Media Group and Sun-Sentinel Media Group for the last six-and-a-half years, will focus full-time on the Sun-Sentinel Media Group in South Florida. Meyer and Greenberg will continue to report to Tribune Publishing Company CEO Jack Griffin, as will Daniels, who joins the company next month.

Meyer's promotion to publisher/CEO of Orlando Sentinel Media Group follows a successful, eight-year run at the Hartford Courant Media Group, where she introduced a number of innovative print and digital experiences. Daniels, who succeeds Meyer at the Hartford Courant, is an industry veteran who has overseen many well-known media brands, including The Boston Globe and GateHouse Media New England, as well as numerous digital start-ups and early stage ventures. Greenberg, who has served as publisher/CEO of both the Orlando Sentinel Media Group and the Sun-Sentinel Media Group, will focus on continued growth at the South Florida property.

The appointments take effect in early November.
