The Galveston Daily News hires new advertising director

Steve Paterson, a media professional with deep Texas roots, has joined The Galveston Daily News as advertising director.
He joins the paper from California where he served as group publisher for a network of newspapers serving the Bay Area including the Silicon Valley.
