Two sets of awards: Members' Choice Awards & Judges' Awards

1st place in the 2014 Spot News Category: Little Rock firefighters and MEMS medical technicians work to free the female driver of a Lexus that was struck by a vehicle that was fleeing Arkansas State Police officers on the ramp from S. Chester St. to eastbound I-630 in Little Rock Thursday. The male driver of the fleeing car fled on foot across I-630 and was caught by officers on the other side. The female was the only one injured.

No LOGIN is required in order to enter the SNPA Photo / Video Contest.  A LOGIN is only needed at the voting stage; we'll send a LOGIN to everyone who enters the contest and is employed by an SNPA member newspaper (if you don't already have a LOGIN) when we enter that stage.

This photo by Rick McFarland of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, Little Rock, placed first in the spot news category of last year's SNPA Photo / Video Contest.  SNPA members are encouraged to submit their entries now for the 2015 contest.  Monday, July 13, is the deadline for receipt of all contest entries.

CASH PRIZES: New this year ... In addition to awards determined by contest judges, SNPA members who have created a LOGIN for snpa.org by Friday, July 10, also will be eligible to vote for their favorites in a new Members' Choice Awards presentation.
