News-Talk 1480 WHBC launches high school sports website with My Team Scoop

Presteligence announces that News-Talk 1480 WHBC is utilizing the My Team Scoop platform to host its new high school sports website, www.whbcsports.com.  Serving area high schools in Stark County, Ohio, fans can get up-to-the-minute score updates for their favorite teams via text, email and push notifications. 

The site includes 27 high school teams' schedules, rosters, news, photos and videos, as well as the audio vault of broadcasted games and blogs from Canton's favorite radio personalities. 

My Team Scoop will allow WHBC staff, student interns and volunteer contributors to efficiently update scores and stats in real time on Thursday, Friday and Saturday night games and allows WHBC to report on games in ways other than radio.  Fans can follow a play-by-play account of web-covered games.  Visitors will see a similar view on their phone, tablet and desktop whether it's through the website or App from Apple iTunes or Google Play.

They will feature at least one web game per week where viewers can follow along with the play-by-play of the game in real time.  Scores and stats for teams and players are automatically populated on the site in real-time when using the Game Tracker app.

The site went live the first week of football season. Analytics compared to the previous year show increased traffic all around.
