Rich Roxbury has been appointed publisher of The Sentinel-Echo of London and The Times-Tribune of Corbin in Kentucky.

Roxbury comes from Michigan where he served as director of audience development for the Traverse City Record-Eagle, which is owned by the same parent company, Community Newspaper Holdings, Inc.

"We are delighted to have Rich advance in his leadership role within the company," said Steve McPhaul, CNHI's executive vice president and chief operating officer. "His innovative guidance will serve well with the devoted teams in London and Corbin."

Roxbury began his newspaper career 12 years ago with Lee Enterprises and has been with the Traverse City Record-Eagle for the past nine years.

"I am very excited about this opportunity," Roxbury said. "I look forward to working with the London and Corbin staffs as well as getting to know the communities and their residents."

Roxbury is a single parent to his 18-year-old daughter, who recently enrolled at the U.S. Naval Academy. He is relocating to the London area, where he will become active in the business and civic communities.
