Meeting on Friday in Asheville, N.C., the SNPA Board of Directors approved five new SNPA members:

• The Atlanta Voice, Atlanta, Ga., James Washington, president, and Janis Ware, publisher
• The Acadiana Advocate, Lafayette, La., Dan Shea, president and publisher
• The New Orleans Advocate, New Orleans, La., Dan Shea, president and publisher
• The Daily News, Huntingdon, Penn., George Sample, CEO
• Accura Media Group, Jonathan Spira, editorial director
