Finalists announced in Print Quality Contest

SNPA has announced the finalists in this year's Print Quality Contest. Awards will be presented at the News Industry Summit, Oct. 10-12 in Nashville.

First-, second- and third-place honors will be recognized in four contest categories: under 25,000 circulation, 25,001-50,000 circulation, 50,001-100,000 and over 100,000.

Finalists (alphabetically by state) are:

  • Sarasota Herald-Tribune, Sarasota, Fla.
  • Citizen Times, Asheville, N.C.
  • Winston-Salem Journal, Winston-Salem, N.C.
  • Al Dia, Dallas, Texas
  • The Dallas Morning News, Dallas, Texas
  • Plano Star Courier, Plano, Texas
  • Bristol Herald Courier, Bristol, Va.
  • The Free Lance-Star, Fredericksburg, Va.
  • The News & Advance, Lynchburg, Va.
  • Richmond Times-Dispatch, Richmond, Va.
  • Bluefield Daily Telegraph, Bluefield, W.Va.

Winners will be posted on the SNPA website following the announcement in Nashville.
