Ogden Newspapers acquires the Loudoun Times-Mirror

Posted

The Loudoun Times-Mirror, Loudoun's longest-serving news source, is under new ownership, but it's not losing its 163-year-old bond with the local Virginia community, company officials say.

Peter Arundel, the publisher and now former owner, sold the newspaper this week to Ogden Newspapers, publisher of 46 daily newspapers and more than 30 weekly newspapers across the nation. The purchase includes LoudounTimes.com, which served more than 1.6 million visitors in 2017, and LOUDOUNER, a quarterly lifestyle magazine. The Times-Mirror's print edition is delivered weekly to 55,000 homes.

Terms of the sale were not made public.
