Two important digital topics are on the agenda next Thursday afternoon at the SNPA News Industry Summit in Nashville.

  • Jay Horton, president /digital with WEHCO Media, Inc., will discuss lessons learned by a digital agency.
  • Jeff Moriarty, senior vice president/digital with GateHouse Media, will examine new avenues for content distribution and creation.

With regard to digital agencies, Horton says: "Just about everyone is or has tried it, and many have shut their agencies down. Who is successful and why?" With the challenges of competition, low margins, staffing, constantly evolving products, training and low barriers to entry, Horton will examine what success looks like. Learn more during this session about WEHCO's success and what's on the horizon.

He will be followed by Moriarty who will offer some observations and tactics for developing audiences from experience in the U.S. to the UK and back again.

It's not too late to register for the News Industry Summit, to be held Oct. 10-12 in Nashville.
