For 35 years Sammy Papert has sold, researched and consulted with newspapers. Initially, with the Papert Companies, selling tens of millions of dollars in advertising for 500 middle and small market newspapers; next, as CEO of Belden Associates conducting strategic sales surveys for newspapers and advertisers; and, currently via Wormhole, where he evaluates and promotes companies interested in selling their services to the industry.

In this session Papert will cover the top sales priorities he has learned and refined through the years to grow audience, streamline processes and, most importantly, grow sales.

In 1981 Sammy Papert joined the family-owned Papert Companies, a newspaper marketing solutions firm. He pushed, cajoled, begged and pleaded with both advertisers and publishers to grow the organization to 450 middle and small market newspapers across the country and succeeded. In 1998 Papert became chairman and CEO of Belden Associates. Several years later he started Wormhole to connect businesses and audiences in unique and fast ways by leveraging new technology.

The registration fee is $35 – if your registration is received by Monday, May 22.  Fees increase to $45 after May 22. Registration closes at 11:59 p.m. (CDT) on May 24.
