Asheville Citizen-Times hires new ad director

The Asheville (N.C.) Citizen-Times has a new sales director who will lead the advertising department. Vivian Murciano joins the team, coming from iHeart Media in South Florida.

Murciano has managed business sales through Florida and the Caribbean since 2009, and prior to that managed ad sales for Dex Media in Denver.

David Foster, who had served as sales director since January 2016, recently accepted a regional vice president of sales position with the USA TODAY Network, the Citizen-Times' parent company.
