Lisa Chappell, a veteran Texas newspaper executive, has been appointed publisher of the Cleburne (Texas) Times Review. She replaces Kay Helms, who recently retired.

Chappell is currently the publisher of several sister newspapers in north Texas owned by CNHI, LLC.  They are located in Weatherford, Mineral Wells, Gainesville, Greenville, Royse City, Commerce and Rockwall County. She will continue in that role.

"Lisa is an accomplished executive and seasoned publisher, and we are delighted that she will be taking on this additional role in Cleburne," said Steve McPhaul, CNHI LLC's executive vice president, newspaper operations. "Her wealth of newspaper experience will be an asset to the newspaper and the community."

Chappell joined CNHI in 2003 as an advertising account executive for Herald-Banner Publications in Greenville.  She was appointed advertising director in 2005 and publisher in 2007. In 2015, she took on the additional management of the Gainesville newspaper and was named regional sales director for CNHI's North Texas group in 2016 and group publisher for the North Texas group in 2017.

"I am delighted and honored for the opportunity to work with our very talented team at the Times Review, said Chappell. "Cleburne is a great community and I look forward to working the local businesses and engaging with our readers as we continue to provide quality products and serving this community."
