Chron.com/Jobs: not just a job search app

The Houston Chronicle has launched its next generation jobs mobile application.  Delivering functionality that goes beyond being just another job search app, the Chron Jobs app is an integral part of planning and executing on a long-term career path.

In addition to standard functions like performing a job search, the app also allows: saving previous search queries, sharing job postings via social media and email, and applying for positions directly from a smartphone or tablet. Plus, the app contains a Career Rescue area with helpful tips on topics such as career transition and interview skills.  The app also features up-to-date information on the latest local job fairs, giving the user access to new opportunities with the tap of a screen.
