PART 1: Video playback with Inmobly

A technology from Inmobly can predict which videos a mobile viewer might want to watch and download the files in advance to avoid delays during peak network traffic times. Co-founder and CEO Hesham El Gamal tells us how it works. 

PART 2: Crowdsourcing via Fresco

New York-based Fresco is building a consumer-facing platform for crowdsourced news that also includes an assignment dispatch system for newsrooms to request specific materials. CEO John Meyer says the app could help journalists get visual content from the scene in a fast, direct manner.
