San Francisco Chronicle deploys new online subscriber portal
NEWSCYCLE Solutions announces that the San Francisco Chronicle, a Hearst Corporation property, is live on SubscriptionLink, a new self-service portal that allows customers to securely manage print and digital subscriptions from any web or mobile device.
SubscriptionLink provides Chronicle customers with a sleek, modern user-interface and simplified navigation designed to easily manage subscriptions on any browser-enabled device. Subscribers can complete transactions and update account details – such as payments, address changes and delivery preferences – from a single online page. SubscriptionLink includes redesigned menu options to guide customers through the self-transact process as quickly and intuitively as possible.
The SubscriptionLink portal interface is fully customizable. Authorized users can manage landing pages, graphics, content, header information and footer details for each of the company's websites.
SubscriptionLink is integrated with the Chronicle's NEWSCYCLE Circulation system, providing a single point of access to real-time customer and billing information for all print and digital subscribers.
"The goal of this project was to provide the San Francisco Chronicle with a well-presented and intuitive portal to improve consumer relationships and interaction with subscribers," said Donna Beasley, NEWSCYCLE's director of product strategy, commerce pillar. "SubscriptionLink is designed and optimized for mobile users. Subscription management actions require just a single step, so transactions are easier to complete without requiring the assistance of a customer service representative."
Hearst Corporation plans to deploy NEWSCYCLE's SubscriptionLink at all Hearst properties.
