Single copy sales: online or at the newsrack

Readers of The Recorder in Monterey, Va., can buy their single copies at the newsstand ... or online – at $2 per copy.

Copies purchased online can be downloaded, printed or simply read online.

Publisher Anne Adams says new revenue trickles in $2 at a time, but online purchases generate an extra $200 a month.  Most importantly, it often leads to new annual subscriptions.
