Daytona Beach News-Journal launches redesign today

The Daytona Beach (Fla.) News-Journal launched a redesigned paper today, featuring a cleaner layout, new sections, slightly narrower pages, and larger, easier-to-read type in stories.

The changes "add up to an improved News-Journal – for readers, advertisers and employees," said Michael Redding, CEO of Halifax Media, which owns The News-Journal and 32 other newspapers and affiliated websites throughout the Southeast.
