Daniel Suddeath has been named editor of the Glasgow Daily Times, a five-day-a-week newspaper in Central Kentucky.

Suddeath has been a staff writer for the News and Tribune (Jeffersonville, Ind.) for the past seven years, with responsibility for covering the New Albany beat. He's also served as editor for Southern Indiana Business Source magazine during that time.

Bill Hanson, publisher of the Glasgow Daily Times and the News and Tribune, both CNHI properties, said: "Daniel is a high-caliber editorial guy with passion for good journalism. I'm certain he will continue the great work we do in the communities we serve and enhance areas of opportunity."

Suddeath, 33, served as reporter and editor at the Portland Progressive in Northern Tennessee prior to coming to the News and Tribune. He's a graduate of the University of Kentucky and a native of Hopkinsville, Ky.

The News and Tribune is searching to fill Suddeath's position.
