CNHI appoints senior vice president/chief information officer

Michelle Talerico has been promoted to senior vice president and chief information officer for Community Newspaper Holdings, Inc., Donna Barrett, CNHI president and chief executive officer, has announced.

Talerico had been the company's senior vice president and chief technology officer in charge of systems, software, technology and special projects. Her added responsibilities include quality control, magazines and operational analysis.

Barrett said her promotion to senior vice president and chief information officer reflects the expansion of her responsibilities across the company.

"Michelle has been increasingly engaged with ways to improve our technical and operational efficiencies," said Barrett. "She is a key member of the top management team."

Talerico is a native of Traverse City, Mich., where she began her newspaper career at The Record-Eagle in 1992, then owned by Ottaway Newspapers, a division of the Dow Jones Company. She was promoted to vice president, systems, software and information technology for CNHI in 2010. In 2014, she was name chief technology officer for the company.
