Sid Crim, former president of State-Record Company, dies at 76

Sid Crim, a former top executive at The State (Columbia, S.C.) who helped oversee major changes in the newspaper's pre-Internet history, died recently after an 18-year struggle with Parkinson's Disease. He was 76.

During his career, Crim was an active member of SNPA. He served on the SNPA Board of Directors, chaired the SNPA Foundation Board of Trustees and served on various SNPA committees.
