Fox leaves The Greenville News

After 32 years as a reporter, editor and finally news director at The Greenville (S.C.) News, William Fox has left the building.

Fox, a Chicago native who came to Greenville as a police reporter in 1985 and went on to be named South Carolina Journalist of the Year twice, leaves after two years as managing editor and having driven the newsroom's digital transformation since 2009.
