GateHouse names new Tribune publisher

GateHouse Media Inc. has named an Alaska newspaper publisher to lead the Columbia (Mo.) Daily Tribune.

Rustan Burton, 37, has been publisher of the Juneau Empire for 3½ years. He takes over from interim Publisher Mark Hinueber, who has been at the helm since GateHouse Media Inc. acquired the Tribune in October. The purchase ended 111 years of ownership by the Waters family.
