Digby Solomon's debut column: Health care expansions

Digby Solomon returns to the public square after his retirement from the Daily Press of Newport News, Va.

In his debut colum, he wrote:

"I will attempt whenever possible to concentrate on national policy issues from the context of Virginia.

"And because too few of us are sufficiently grounded in economics or finance, I will often attempt to illustrate the economic consequence of well-intended but impractical policies."
