It pays to be a member of SNPA

Strategic partnerships help SNPA members save money, grow revenue

Posted

SNPA has established strategic partnerships with seven companies that will help its member newspapers cut costs, grow revenue, and access essential benchmarking data. Additional partnerships are in development to further expand the program.

If a newspaper takes advantage of any one of these services, the newspaper can save more money every year than it spends on SNPA dues, said Executive Director Edward VanHorn. It quite literally pays to be a member of SNPA.

SNPA Strategic Partners are:

Each partnership offers unique features exclusively for SNPA members.

While one company is still working on details of its offer to SNPA members, the other companies have announced their programs:

SNPA member newspapers have fantastic reputations and long-standing relationships with thousands of local merchants, Guarantee Digital CEO Daryl Hively said. Many of these merchants know they need to upgrade their online presence and through this partnership, they will now have a local partner they can trust to improve their website, social media strategy and much more.

SNPA and Guarantee Digital will also work together to provide extensive product and sales training with both virtual and onsite programs in the year to come.

OFFICE DEPOT/OFFICEMAX

Your SNPA membership entitles you and your employees to exclusive savings of 10 percent to 80 percent on most online and in-store purchases from Office Depot and OfficeMax. The SNPA program includes more than 93,000 products that are discounted below retail, and free next-day shipping on orders over $50.

SNPA tested this program over the last six months and has saved hundreds of dollars on the purchase of paper alone, VanHorn said. And it's a great perk for employees, who can print their own individual purchasing cards to save on school supplies, personal computers and home office needs.
