Southern Lithoplate, Inc., a leading manufacturer of digital printing plates and associated CTP solutions, has announced Jeffrey Bernhardt, has joined the SLP team as regional sales manager.

Three longtime Hearst executives have been elected executive vice presidents of the corporation: Mark Aldam, who also assumes the title of chief operating officer; Rich Malloch, who becomes EVP for Business Media, and Mitch Scherzer, who adds EVP to his existing title of chief financial officer.

Hearst Newspapers has announced that two members of the group's executive leadership team will be taking on expanded roles. Mike DeLuca, Hearst Newspapers senior vice president of digital and chief executive officer of LocalEdge, has been promoted to executive vice president of advertising sales. John McKeon, Houston Chronicle president and publisher, will become Hearst Newspapers executive vice president and Texas Newspapers president.

Jake Mienk, publisher of the Palestine Herald-Press and Corsicana Daily Sun, has expanded his publisher responsibilities to two additional Texas papers: The Huntsville Item and the Jacksonville Progress.

Mark Wilson, publisher of the Rocky Mount Telegram and The Tarboro Weekly will retire at the end of February. He will be succeeded by Kyle Stephens, who is currently group publisher of Cooke Communications North Carolina's Southern Group of non-daily newspapers.

In addition, Tim Holt has been promoted to chief operating officer of Cooke Communications North Carolina. He will report directly to John Kent Cooke, Jr., who continues as president of the company.

Chris Davis has been named regional digital director for CNHI.

Davis previously was training manager, overseeing CNHI's companywide training program and implementing digital sales strategies for publishers and sales managers.

Cox Enterprises has announced the promotion of Andre Reese to vice president of information systems operations.

Cox Enterprises has announced the promotion of Paul Scolese to vice president of government affairs.

Cox Enterprises has named Robert Woodard to the position of vice president of Cox Talent Acquisition, effective March 12. He reports to Jill Campbell, executive vice president.
